The Royal Palm Grill is arguably the most iconic diner in South Florida. People have been waking up and smelling what the short order cook has to offer ever since 1953. After breakfast, take 2 steps past the cash register and you're in Rexall Drugs, the drugstore old as the diner itself. Well you can only cook up so many delicios batches of homemade biscuits and gravy, crispy bacon, and new specialty items each day til the town screams for more. Royal Palm Grill had to open up a second location only about a quarter mile south on Krome. The voting wasn't even fair: folks chose The Royal Palm Grill as the #1 BEST OF HOMESTEAD for breakfast. But you need to know that their lunch and dinner are just as good.
