Homestead's BEST Attractions

Famous Cinnamon Rolls
Knaus Berry Farm (Seasonal)

15980 SW 248th Street | Homestead | 305-247-0668 | www.knausberryfarm.com

BEWARE: One taste of a sticky bun from Knaus Berry Farm and you'll gain an addiction that may be unhealthy. But who cares? You have to try 'em! We're trying to type here, but the distraction is kicking in just thinking about those delicious, moist, WORLD FAMOUS buns! Moving on. After you eat a dozen of the buns, make sure you shop the fresh produce like strawberries from their field out back. The bad news? They close each April and don't open again until October (Lord Willing). We'll wait.

Milkshakes, Fruit, Everglades
Airboat Tours in Miami and Homestead
Robert Is Here - Fruit Stand & Famous Milkshakes

If you want to taste a milkshake unlike any milkshake on earth, you have to go to Robert Is Here. Why the name? You'll have to visit their website to find out! While there, you'll have the opportunity to sample the most exotic fruits on earth, buy some locally grown fruits & veggies, browse hundreds of different sauces, jams and jellies, and say hi to Robert! Settle in with your milkshake, take in some live acoustic music, and go back in time with some fascinating antique trucks and more.

Airboat In Everglades

17696 SW 8th Street | Miami | 888-893-4443 | www.airboatineverglades.com

A lot of Homestead area locals have their own airboats, and not many visitors ever get a chance at an intimate, non-crowded ride on one of these amazing inventions that glide across the sea of sawgrass that is Homestead's neighboring Florida Everglades. At Airboat In Everglades, they have many awesome packages to choose from, but we recommend the private tours. Just a 2 or 3 of you, and the captains who know their way around. You'll see all kinds of wildlife on your wild ride. Gators!

Alligator Tours, Everglades Snakes
Fruit and Spice Park, Exotic Fruit Miami
Everglades Alligator Farm

40351 SW 192 Ave. | Homestead | 305-247-2628 | www.everglades.com

Have you ever seen a swarm of alligators eating whole raw chickens? What about baby gators? Welcome to Everglades Alligator Farm! You'll get the most incredible close-up views of Florida Alliagators, snakes, and even the American Crocodile! If that's not enough for you, they have excellent airboat tours where the pro captains ask if you prefer a slow or wild ride (hint: it's wild no matter what, and you'll love it). Mad props to their gift shop too. Some great stuff to bring home, and good prices.

Fruit & Spice Park

24801 SW 187th Avenue | Homestead | 305-247-5727 | www.fruitandspicepark.org

We suppose the name might give it away, but who cares? Don't leave Homestead (or live here) without visiting the famous Fruit & Spice Park! Homestead and The Redland are areas born in agriculture, and we promise that the Fruit and Spice park will open your eyes to a beautiful, lush landscape of exotic trees and much more. Just trees? Oh, no. You have to see it to believe it.
